Toria is a primary teacher who has worked in many roles in the primary sector for more than twenty
years. She is also a coach and is committed to empowering the voices around her – both of the large
and small kind. Her love of teaching means that she is always keen to learn from others and hone
her craft. In February 2020, she created the #TinyVoiceTalks community on Twitter and later that
year started the Tiny Voice Talks podcast. Since these began, she has managed to raise the
voices of many educators and share good practice far and wide. In 2021, Toria was the recipient of a
‘Rising Star Award’ in the educational field. Toria became a fellow of the Chartered College of
